Ferrer vs Andy Murray Prediction & Betting Tips - Rolex Paris Masters
by | in Rolex Paris Masters Predictions
Andy Murray had a far tougher quarter final match against Richard Gasquet than expected. It took him three sets to get past the Frenchman and was a break down in the final set before finally winning the match. After the match he told reporters how he'd had some problems with a stiff back and that's why I'm tipping him to win this match but only given it a three star rating. Murray is a bit prone to back injuries but thinks he'll be fine for this match. If it did prove to be a bit of a marathon like the Gasquet match then that thought of a back problem, however minor, might come into play. David Ferrer beat John Isner to get through to the semi-finals and as I tipped, there'd be a tie-break involved and our bet on the number of games in the match came up. Ferrer won in a match that lasted over two hours and while Isner was firing down ace after ace, that wasn't the case with Ferrer who only managed three aces. He may have to serve better than that to get past Murray. Recent meetings between the pair have been dominated by the Scot with three straight wins since a defeat to Ferrer in Shanghai last year. Murray can make it a fourth straight win here.
