Second-placed Fenerbahce will welcome ninth-placed Real Madrid when the EuroLeague continues this week with matchday 25. Read on to find our prediction for this match as both teams seek to return to winning ways. 

Fenerbahce are seeking an immediate response after falling to Panathinaikos earlier in the week. Sarunas Jasikevicius’ men were on a 12-match winning streak across all competitions and had won six straight in Europe when they fell 91-90 in Greece.

The loss kept them from tying for the best record with league leaders Olympiacos. They still remain firmly in the race for top spot but cannot afford to lose here.

The Yellow Canaries, who defeated Real in the reverse match 82-70, have won 16 of 24 fixtures.

Real Madrid have regressed once again. They have lost three times in their last four matches in Europe. 

Before this slump, they had won six straight in the competition, leading them to enter the playoff bracket. Now only one victory is keeping them from dropping out of the top 10 once again. 

Chus Mateo’s men suffered their second successive loss in Europe when they were outscored 79-73 away to Anadolu Efes. They have now lost 12 times and sit just one game above .500.
