Felix Auger Aliassime vs Marton Fucsovics Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP European Open

Third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime and unseeded Marton Fucsovics will battle in the second round in Antwerp. It will be the fifth career meeting between them and we have a prediction for the match.

On Auger-Aliassime’s return to the European Open he will hope to pick up from where he left off. The Canadian was last here during his title success in 2022. The five-time tour champion will, however, be impeded by recent fitness concerns.

In his last 10 outings, he lost five times, and is currently on a two-match skid. Those two losses came in tournament openers in Tokyo and Shanghai. Having defeated Fucsovics twice before, he will be confident of a winning start.

The 24-year-old has won 30 matches, resulting in a final in Madrid and a fourth round finish at the Paris Olympics. He is currently 19th in the live ranking.

Marton Fucsovics has also won twice against Auger-Aliassime, the most recent being in Shanghai last year. The Hungarian also won the only previous meeting with Auger-Aliassime on an indoor hard court.

This should have him confident of a start here. Fucsovics, a quarter-finalist here on his debut in 2021, defeated wildcard Raphael Collignon in the first round. He won it in explosive fashion, allowing the Belgian just two games in the contest.

The 32-year-old is an excellent indoor hardcourt player and, in his career, has won over 150 matches on the surface. Fucsovics, who won the Romanian Open back in April, has moved up to 87th in the live ranking.

The winner here will play Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Roberto Bautista Agut or Luca Van Assche next.
