Felix Auger Aliassime vs Marin Cilic Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

Felix Auger-Aliassime continued with his powerful start to the season by advancing to the Dubai Open quarter-finals. He has set up a meeting with Marin Cilic in what will be their fifth meeting. Below is our prediction for the match, from which the winner faces Luca Nardi or Quentin Halys in the semis.

Auger-Aliassime is coming off a three-set win over Nuno Borges in the second round. He rose from losing 6-4 in the opening set, beating the Portuguese player 6-3, 7-5 to advance.

The Canadian is already gunning for his third title of the year after clinching the Adelaide and Montpellier gongs. Though an inconsistent run had him exit the Australian Open and Rotterdam early.

Marin Cilic is also coming from a three-set win, beating the reigning Montreal champion Alexei Popyrin to advance here. That win followed another impressive performance against world number eight Alex de Minaur.

Twice a quarterfinalist in Dubai, Cilic will be looking to finally go past this hurdle. He lost at this stage in 2009 and 2010. He hasn’t reached this stage since advancing to the semis at Queen’s Club in 2022 after beating Emil Ruusuvuori.

While Auger-Aliassime is the favorite here, Cilic holds the head-to-head advantage with three wins in four meetings.
