Felix Auger Aliassime vs Jan-Lennard Struff Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Munich Open

Former finalist Jan-Lennard Struff takes on fifth seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime in the BMW Open quarter-finals. Struff is seeded fourth in this outdoor clay court tournament and reached the final here in 2021. The winner of this match takes on either second-seeded (and defending champion) Holger Rune or qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler in the last four. Struff was ranked 28th in the latest ranking list and up two places in the live rankings. The German is playing his second clay court tournament of the year. Last week, he got to the last 16 in Monte Carlo, losing to Jannik Sinner but did beat two top 35 ranked players. This week has seen him get a good win in round two over Botic van de Zandschulp who's reached the final here for the past two years.

Felix Auger-Aliassime leads his opponent 2-1 in previous meetings but this is their first match on clay. The Canadian is still 34th in the live rankings but a win here could see him climb as high as 32nd if winning this match. He'll need to be in the top 32 to be seeded at Roland Garros. Auger-Aliassime remains inconsistent but has had two wins this week to reach the quarter-finals. It was a struggle in round one though as he had to come from behind to beat Maximilian Marterer with all three sets going to a tie-break. It was a bit smoother in round two with a straight sets win over unseeded Taro Daniel for the loss of only five games. This should be a lot more competitive and we go for over 22.5 games to be played.
