A disappointing year for Felix Auger-Aliassime is having a happy ending. He won the Swiss Indoors Championship at the weekend and is back up to 19th in the world rankings. He's unseeded in the Paris Masters and takes on Jan-Lennard Struff in the first round. The winner will face the seventh seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in round two of this indoor hard court tournament. Auger-Aliassime is up to 29th in the Live ATP Race and won't be qualifying for the Tour Finals. He'll just be glad that he's back in form after a year that has seen him fail to win a match in his last three Grand Slam events. He beat Holger Rune on his way to the final in Basel where he defeated Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets, both going to a tie-break. 

Jan-Lennard Struff is 27th in the latest ranking list and also in that position in the Live ATP Race. The German was injured in June and didn't make his return to the ATP Tour until September. He hasn't been able to recapture the form that saw him reach finals in Madrid and Stuttgart, though they were played on clay and grass respectively. Since his return from injury, Struff has made it to one quarter final. That was in Zhuhai last month but he only had to win one match to win that stage. Last week saw him lose to Hubert Hurkacz in Basel. That made it just one win in his last six matches. He's 1-1 in previous matches against Auger-Aliassime but both were played three years ago. With Auger-Aliassime in better form at present, we go for the Canadian to get the victory.
