Felix Auger Aliassime vs Alexander Bublik Prediction & Betting Tips - Open Sud de France

The top two seeds in the bottom half of the Open de Sud France have made it to the semi-finals. Second seeded Alexander Bublik takes on the third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime. Bublik was in 27th position in the rankings when this tournament began. His run to the semi-final of this indoor hard court tournament has seen him climb up to 23rd which is a new career high. He can't rise any further even if winning the Open de Sud France. In the Live ATP Race he's 26th and can get as high as 16th if reaching the final. This is his second semi-final of the year, the other being in Brisbane. Bublik failed to get past round one of the Australian Open but has rediscovered his form this week in Montpellier. It's not been easy though and in his wins over Denis Shapovalov and Alexander Shevchenko he had to come from a set down. Bublik has lost two of his three previous matches against his opponent but has never beaten him on a hard court.

Felix Auger-Aliassime has dropped down the rankings in the past year after being in the top ten. The Canadian was ranked 30th in the latest list but is now up to 28th and a win over Bublik will see him move up one place in the live list. The new year didn't start well for Auger-Aliassime with a first round exit in Hobart and a last 32 defeat in the Australian Open. Last year saw him win the Swiss Indoors Championship and he's again going well in an European indoor hard court event. He's had wins over two French players but had to go to a final set tie-break  Smoother progress was made in the quarter finals with a straight sets win over Harold Mayot. This looks like being a close match and we go for three sets to be played.
