Aleksandar Kovacevic unseeded Felix Auger-Aliassime in round one of the hard court Cincinnati Masters. For the winner there's a second round clash with seventh seed Casper Ruud. Here's our match prediction.

Felix Auger-Aliassime is the world number 19 and has been making his way back up the rankings this year. The Canadian had dropped out of the top 32 and recently finished in fourth place in the men's singles at the Paris Olympics.

Last week was disappointing for him as he lost in his first match in the Rogers Cup in Montreal. His best performance on hard courts this year came in Montpellier. He reached the last four of that indoor hard court tournament.

Kovacevic is the world number 79 and had to go through the qualifying rounds to make it into this main draw. He won two matches but had to come from behind to beat Pedro Martinez (who was the second seed in qualifying) in his first match.

Making it into the main draw has seen Kovacevic rise to 75th in the live rankings. The American is at least doing better than last week when losing in the first qualifying round of the Rogers Cup in Montreal. Before that he got to the last 16 in Washington.

His best performance on hard courts this year was a quarter-final in Los Cabos. However, he didn't beat any top 70 ranked players to get that far. We tip Auger-Aliassime to win this in straight sets.
