Federer vs Pella Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Wimbledon
by in Tennis Predictions
That eighth Wimbledon title is still eluding Roger Federer. He last won this title in 2012, the last time that he's won a Grand Slam title. He's reached the last two finals here losing on both occasions to Novak Djokovic. His best days are obviously behind him but he's still one heck of a tennis player especially on grass. Injury caused him to pull out of the French Open but he's back fit again now. He could have had an easier first round draw though as he takes on world number 52 Guido Pelle. He's not had a great 2016 though and lost in three sets to Benjamin Becker (currently 103 in the world) at the Nottingham grass warm-up event last week. Other highlights this year include quarter finals in Bucharest and Nice but without beating players ranked in the top 100. His best win this year was defeating World number 25 Pablo Cuevas in Indian Wells. Grass isn't his favourite surface and he was knocked out in qualifying last year. Although not a pushover he shouldn't be doing too well against Federer. A win for the Swiss player with over 27.5 games looks a good bet.
