Federer vs Daniel Evans Prediction & Betting Tips - Wimbledon
by in ATP Wimbledon Championships Predictions
There seems to be a fair few British players around in the Men's Singles this year. Sadly only one has a realistic chance of making it through to the second week let alone winning it. Over to you Mr Murray once Roger Federer deals with Daniel Evans. It's his second British opponent in three rounds so far after a straight sets win over the fairly unknown (and probably never to be seen again) Marcus Willis. Evans is a tougher proposition at 91 in the world but he's never made it past the third round of a Grand Slam tournament. He beat Dolgopov, the 30th seed in straight sets to get this far but he's unlikely to get to the fourth round unless Federer really has on off-day or he gets injured. Evans has had some success on the Challenger circuit but he's not capable of beating top ten ranked players let alone the great Roger Federer. I go for the Swiss legend to win but it might take him over 30.5 games to do so with at least one tightly fought set.
