It's an all-Spanish clash in EuroLeague on Friday as Barcelona host Valencia. Barcelona are second in the EuroLeague table with the visitors in sixth place. The home side have a 6-2 record for this new EuroLeague season, with only Real Madrid (7-0) above them. Barcelona owe their lofty place in thhe table to their home form. On the road they have won two and lost the same number. It's a different story at home though with all four of their games being won this season. In the ACB Spanish basketball league they are in second place and it's a similar story domestically with a 100 per cent home record after their first four games. Barcelona's poor away form saw them lose their most recent EuroLigue fixture 94-71 away at Baskonia. Their last home EuroLeague match saw them beat Crvena zvezda 96-91 and they will be hoping to retain their winnning run here.

Valencia have a 5-3 record in EuroLeague this season and that puts them in the final play-off quarter final qualification spot. Four of their wins have come at home with away form nowhere near as good. Three away fixtures have seen them lose to Anadulu, beat Zalgiris and in their most recent game suffer a heavy 83-52 loss at Olimpia Milano. They are third in the ACB and did recently beat Barcelona 71-68 but that was a home game. We expect it to be a different result here and back Barcelona to get the win.
