FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid Prediction & Betting Tips - EuroLeague

Real Madrid began the year top of Euroleague with 16 of their 17 matches being won. They travel to Barcelona who are third in the table but struggling for form at present. Real Madrid have won four more games than second placed Virtus Bologna. That gap could be smaller when this game begins as Virtus host Bayern earlier in the day. Real's only Euroleague defeat this season came away at Fenerbahce who are sixth in the table but won all seven of their home fixtures in this season's Euroleague. Even then, Real only lost by a single point after over time. Since that defeat they have six Euroleague fixtures in a row, most recently coming from behind to win at Lyon-Villeurbanne. On the road, they have won their last four Euroleague fixtures. Real are also top of the Spanish ACB with 15 wins out of 16. Their only domestic defeat has been a home loss to Unicaja. They come into this game unbeaten in their last 11 matches.

Barcelona were close behind Real until recently but their form has dipped in recent weeks. They are now third in the table with 11 wins and six defeats after losing three of their last four Euroleague fixtures. Their most recent loss was a 91-71 defeat away at Monaco. The others saw them lose at home to Olimpia Milano and away at Alba Berlin. Home form for Barcelona in Euroleague had produced seven wins before the loss to MIlano. Barcelona are also third in the ACB with ten wins and six losses. They've also lost three of their last four games in that competition making it six defeats in their last eight matches. This may well be close but we tip Real to get the win.
