Fabian Marozsan vs Karen Khachanov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Qatar Open

Karen Khachanov is the second seed in the ExxonMobil Open in Doha. He begins his campaign  in this outdoor hard court tournament with a second round match against unseeded Hungarian Fabian Marozsan. The winner goes into the quarter finals where the seeded opponent is sixth seed Jan-Lennard Struff. Khachanov is ranked 17th in the world and 22nd in the Live ATP Race. The Russian has won five of his eight matches played this year. He reached the fourth round of the Australian Open, losing in straight sets to eventual winner Jannik Sinner. His best performance this year was in Marseille when getting to the semi-finals in Marseille but lost to Girgor Dimitrov. He won the middle set in that match but lost the other two via tie-breaks.

Fabian Marozsan is the world number 61 which is four places below his career high. The Hungarian is up to 60th after his first round win over qualifier Vit Kopriva. That was a tight match though with 25 games being played in the two sets. Marozsan is 70th in the ATP Live Race and only won one of his first three matches this year but then reached the third round in the Australian Open. After that he lost a singles match in the Davis Cup and lost to compatriot Marton Fucsovics in the first round in Rotterdam last week. This is his first match against Khachanov and we tip the Russian to win.
