Fabian Marozsan vs Grigor Dimitrov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

Tenth seed Grigor Dimitrov has only failed to reach round three in one of his last seven visits to Roland Garros. He takes on unseeded Fabian Marozsán in round two, hoping to reach the third round for the third successive year. The winner of this outdoor clay court match will face either qualifier Zizou Bergs or qualifier Maximilian Marterer in the third round. Dimitrov’s best performance in this tournament is the fourth round he reached in 2020 and last year. Round one this year saw him beat unseeded Aleksandar Kovacevic in straight sets. He’s up to ninth in the live rankings and is also in that position in the ATP Race. Dimitrov has reached two ATP Tour finals this year, but both were on hard courts. He’s yet to get to the last eight of a clay court tournament in 2024. Three tournaments have been played and two of his losses were to players ranked in the top 16.

Fabian Marozsán is at 43rd in the latest rankings but was a career-high 36th earlier this month. He dropped down the rankings due to losing the points earned when reaching the last eight in the 2023 Italian Open. The Hungarian was knocked out in round one this year and before Roland Garros had lost four of his last five matches. This is his first time in the French Open main draw after failing to qualify last year. Round one saw him get a straight sets win over qualifier Mikhail Kukushkin. This is tougher and we tip Dimitrov to get the victory.
