England vs West Indies Prediction & Betting Tips - ICC World Cup
by amy | in Cricket Predictions
England have won two of their first three games and are doing well in their quest to win the ICC World Cup for the first time in their history. After the disappointing defeat by Pakistan, England showed more of their usual form when beating Bangladesh. Their batting line-up came up with the goods with an excellent Jason Roy and half-centuries by Johnny Bairstow and Jos Buttler. The strength of their bowlers was also shown with Archer and Wood among the wickets witht their fast bowling. This will be a tougher game for England and the early overs of their innings will be key for them as they face the West Indies pace attack.
The West Indies got their tournament off to a great start as their bowlers blew Pakistan away. Since that win they have lost to Australia and had a no-result against South Africa due to the poor English weather. Their pace attack has caused plenty of problems so far but batting hasn't quite been so consistent. Chris Gayle only scored 21 against Australia and it'll be fascinating to see him up against Jofra Archer. The West Indies did well against England in their recent one-day series but so much depended on Gayle being at his awesome best. The West Indies will climb above England in the table if they can win this game but England seem to have their momentum back and can get a key win from this game.

Our England vs West Indies Prediction
England showed in their last game just why they are the favourites to win this tournament. Their batting was superb with a Jason Roy century and their bowling line-up did everything to prevent Bangladesh getting anywhere near England's total. The West Indies won't be a pushover at all with their pace attack and the threat of Chris Gayle. England have the momentum though and can be confidently backed to win this match.
