England didn't receive universal approval for their win over Tonga in their first Pool C match. They had no problems in getting a 35-3 win in that opening fixture and a win in this match will take them another step further towards qualifying for the last eight. England have made ten changes for this game against the USA and have declared they will take a more attacking approach in the early stages of the game.
The USA are ranked 15th in the world and that's two places lower than Tonga. They have played England on five previous occasions and lost to them on each occasion. This is their first match of the tournament and they have to play the top three ranked sides in the pool (England, France and Argentina) before taking on Tonga. By then they will have been eliminated and likely to have to qualify for the next tournament as they have a poor record in the world cup. Only three of 25 games have been won and two of those were against Japan. Go for England to get the win here on a -25 handicap.
