England made it four wins out of five in this ICC World Cup with a comprehensive victory over Afghanistan. Their batsmen were in sparkling form with a century by captain Eoin Morgan with a record 17 sixes. Joe Root and Johnny Bairstow also came close to scoring centuries in an innings that contained 25 sixes. Again, it was a strong all-round performance by the England team with their bowlers restricting Afghanistan to 247-8 in their 50 overs giving England a 150 win victory. Jofra Archer took another three wickets with Rashid and Wood also making life difficult for their opponents.
