England vs India Prediction & Betting Tips - ICC World Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in Cricket Predictions
England are ranked number one and began this tournament as the favourites to win the ICC World Cup. However, they have lost three matches already, including the last two and are in danger of failing to reach the semi-finals. Their batting line-up had been consistenly scoring totals of well over 300 but recent games has seen them lose that ability. The loss of Jason Roy has been a big blow for them but they just don't seem to be firing on all cylinders at present. Johnny Bairstow is vulnerable early on and James Vince is continuing his poor impression of being an international level batsman. Their fielding leaves a bit to desire as well and failure to finish in the top four is a distinct possibility with this game against India and a final game against New Zealand to come.
India have played six games and won all five of the ones that saw some play. Their most recent game was a comprehensive victory over the West Indies beating them by 125 runs. With three games to go, they are already almost certain to qualify for the last four. They have a strong batting line-up with Sharma and Kohli (72 v the West Indies) both in good form and a bowling line-up that is making it difficult for all their opponents. The Indian side is clearly in better form than their opponents who will be feeling the pressure to get a win here. Go for India to get the victory.

Our England vs India Prediction
It's worrying times for England coming into this match and if Pakistan beat both New Zealand and Afghanistan, they will need a win to get back into the top four. England's batting is struggling at just the wrong time and they also need to field better if they want to win this game. India are in good form and looking certain to reach the semi-finals. Their batting and bowling is strong and it's India who can win this match.
