England vs Bangladesh Prediction & Betting Tips - T20 World Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in Cricket Predictions
England could not have wished for a better start to their T20 Cricket World Cup campaign. They took on the defending champions and beat the West Indies by six wickets. After putting their opponents into bat, England skittled them for just 55 runs. It only took eight overs and two balls for England to then score the winning runs. Their spinner, Ali and Rashid, made life impossible for the West Indies. Now they take on Bangladesh hoping to make it two wins out of two. It’s unlikely that they will be so dominant again, but their spin duo will make life difficult for any side in this competition. Batting first might be an idea though to give their batters (as we’re now supposed to say) some more time in the middle.
Bangladesh had to play in the qualifying group to get through to the Super 12s. They had wins over Omar and Papua New Guinea but lost to Scotland. This is their second game in the Super 12s and they began with a defeat by Sri Lanka but put in a good effort. Batting first, they scored 171-4 with both Naim and Mushfiqur scoring half centuries. They reduced Sri Lanka to 79-4 but Asalanka (80*) and Rajapaska (53) added 86 for the fifth wicket. Sri Lanka got home with seven balls to spare to win the game. England’s batsmen (old traditions die hard) should prosper against the Sri Lankan attack and can win this game.
