Second seed Iga Swiatek takes on unseeded Emma Raducanu in round three of the Australian Open. The winner will face either unseeded Jaqueline Cristian or lucky loser Eva Lys in the next round. Here's our match prediction.

Swiatek is back at the top of the rankings in the live rankings. The Pole is yet to win this outdoor hard court Grand Slam with a best of reaching the last four in 2022. Her last six matches have been won since a loss to Coco Gauff in the United Cup team tournament.

So far in this tournament, Swiatek has had wins over Katerina Siniakova and Rebecca Sramkova without a set being dropped and only nine games being lost.

Emma Raducanu is in the third round of this tournament for the first time. The British player is up to 55th in the live rankings and a win here will take her back into the top 50. The 22-year-old has lhad three previous matches against Raducanu, losing them all in straight sets with one on this surface.

This is her first tournament of the year and wins have come against 26th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova and unseeded Amanda Anisimova, both in straight sets. Raducanu has had so many injury problems and needed on-court treatment in her last match.
