Emil Ruusuvuori vs Ugo Humbert Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

February has already been a memorable month for Ugo Humbert. Fresh from winning the Marseille title, he now begins his Rotterdam campaign. He's the seventh seed and takes on unseeded Emil Ruusuvouri in the first round of this ATP 500 indoor hard court tournament. Humbert beat Grigor Dimitrov to win the title on Sunday and is now at a career high 18th. If he wins this match, the second round will see him face either Jan-Lennard Struff or Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina, both of whom are unseeded. Humbert is at 13th in the Live ATP Race that's based on ranking points earned this year. He's won seven of his eight matches this year, the only loss being to Hubert Hurkacz in the Australian Open, a win he avenged in Marseille.

Emil Ruusuvouri has won all four of the previous meetings between these two players. However, those victories have come on clay and grass and this is their first meeting on a hard court. The 24-year-old is 55th in the latest ranking list, 18 places below his career high. Ruusuvouri has won six of his nine matches this year. 2024 began well for him with a run to the final in Hong Kong where he lost to Andrey Rublev. He hasn't built on that though and hasn't got past the second round of a tournament since. Last week saw him lose in round two in Marseille, being beaten by Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. We tip Humbert to get his first win over Ruusuvouri.
