Anadolu Efes will be at home against fellow Turkish rivals Fenerbahce on Match Day 2 of the 2024/25 EuroLeague season. They currently sit fourth in the standings and trail second-placed Fenerbahce by points difference. Let’s look at the prediction for this match.

Anadolu Efes have already defeated Fenerbahce this season on the domestic scene and now will seek to do so in Europe. Tomislav Mijatovic’s men claimed a close 83-82 victory over Fener in the Turkish Super Cup to begin their season.

The win is part of a nine-match winning run that started during pre-season. Efes began their quest for a third EuroLeague crown with a 76-67 away victory over Virtus Bologna. It was the best defensive display on Match Day 1.

Daniel Oturu managed 14 points and was one of three players with double-digit points. The hosts will be without Justus Hollatz due to injury for this game.

Fenerbahce also began their European campaign on a winning note. Sarunas Jasikevicius’ men responded to their Super Cup loss with an 82-71 victory over Olympiacos.

Wade Baldin dropped a game-high 19 points in the home win while Nigel Hayes added 15 points. Fener, who defeated Efes in the playoffs last season to become Turkish champions, have won three of their last four EuroLeague meetings with Efes.

Fener also arrive for this game having won their last two matches, the latest ending 97-85 against Buyukcekmece. The visitors will have a boost on the injuries front coming to this match.

Tarik Biberovic, who is yet to play this season due to injury, resumed training this week.
