Anadolu Efes will welcome Olympiacos on matchday four of the 2024/25 EuroLeague season seeking to get back to winning ways. The hosts currently hold position 10 in the standings while their opponents are higher up in fourth. In this preview, we look at stats leading up to this match and offer a prediction.

Efes have had an unconvincing start to their EuroLeague campaign. After an impressive opening 76-67 away victory against Bologna, the Turkish giants have regressed. They have lost their last two matches, conceding over 80 points.

Tomislav Mijatovic’s men came undone in midweek away to Maccabi Tel Aviv, losing a close contest 93-91. This followed an 83-78 defeat by Fenerbahce in their first home game in Europe.

Efes, who had won nine consecutive matches across all competitions before this slump, will be eager to get back on track. Averaging 81.7 points, Efes could be without Daniel Oturu, who is listed as questionable for this game.

Olympiacos have won their last four matches, two being in Europe. Georgios Bartzokas’ men are having a spectacular start to the season and will arrive here confident of victory.

The Greek giants have won six of their seven matches across all competitions. Their only defeat came on Match Day 1 away to Fenerbahce. Olympiacos have tightened on the defensive front since then and kept their last two opponents in Europe to under 70 points.

The Reds followed up on their Match Day 2 74-68 victory over Zalgiris with an 89-68 win over Milano. Olympiacos, who are averaging 78 points a night, have won two of their last three meetings with Efes.
