Round four in the EPCR Challenge Cup will see Edinburgh Rugby playing host to Black Lion on Sunday afternoon. The hosts lead Pool 3 with 11 points while the visitors are at the foot of the standings with four points. Check out our match prediction below. 

Edinburgh will enter this match with momentum after picking up their second consecutive victory in the competition, holding off Vannes 29-25 on the road last weekend. 

That result followed a hard-fought 10-7 victory over old foes Glasgow Warriors in the United Ruby Champions, which leaves them with a record of six wins and four losses in their last 10 games. 

The hosts have been very good at home lately, currently on a five-match win streak, while the only two defeats they’ve conceded in their last 10 were to Leinster and Munster in the URC.

Meanwhile, Black Lion kicked off their Challenge Cup campaign with a narrow win over Vaness, but have lost both games since then, most recently to Bayonne last week at home 41-16. 

While the Georgian outfit has a positive record of six wins and four defeats in their last 10, they have now lost four of their last five in this competition since last season. 

The visitors have also won seven of their last 10 away games across all competitions, but six of those wins were in the Super Cup.
