Dominik Koepfer vs Aleksandar Kovacevic Prediction & Betting Tips - Dallas Open

Dominik Koepfer is the eighth seed for the Dallas Open and takes on unseeded Aleksandar Kovacevic in round one. This is an indoor hard court tournament and the winner of this match will face either wild card Ethan Quinn or unseeded Rinky Hijikata in the second round. Koepfer is the world number 60 but three years ago got as high as 50th. The German started this year by getting to the final of the Challenger Tour event held in Canberra, Australia. He had a tough draw in the Australian Open losing to fellow German Alexander Zverev who went on to reach the last four. Last week saw him representing Germany in the Davis Cup and he won his singles match against Fabian Marozsan from Hungary. He leads Kovacevic 2-1 in previous meetings (all on hard courts) with the last two matches being won.

Aleksandar Kovacevic is at 100th in the latest ranking list. The American was a career high 85th in the previous list but has lost the points earned when winning a Challenger Tour event in Cleveland in January 2023. Kovacevic failed to get into the main draw of this year's Brisbane International but did so in the Australian Open, eventually losing in round two to Karen Khachanov. He won four hard court Challenger Tour events last year but has only made the main draw of two Grand Slams. We tip Koepfer to get a win and move into the second round.
