Dominic Thiem vs Roberto Bautista-Agut Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Bastad Open

Roberto Bautista Agut is the fourth seed in the Swedish Open. He takes on unseeded Dominic Thiem in the second round with the winner facing either eighth seed Sebastian Baez or Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina in the quarter finals. Agut is the world number 20 and recently made it to the final of the Mallorca grass court tournament. The Spaniard withdrew from Wimbledon after winning his first round match due to catching Covid. He's recovered from that and now returns to clay for this event. It's only his second clay court tournament of the year and he missed the French Open. 

Dominic Thiem finally won a match on the ATP Tour in the first round of this tournament. He's been badly hit by a wrist injury and dropped down to 339th in the world but got into this tournament via his protected ranking. He returned to the ATP Tour in late March but lost seven straight matches, all on clay. A win finally came when playing on the Challenger Tour last week but then lost to Facundo Bagnis in three sets. The first round of this tournament saw him defeat Emil Ruusuvouri. His first win on the ATP Tour in 14 months was a hard battle as he had to come from a set down and eventually win a third set tie-break.This is his first match against Agut on clay. He's had five previous matchs against the Spaniard and only won one of them and that was four years ago. Thiem has a way to go before he can start challenging for titles again. Back Agut to win this.
