Dominic Thiem is the top seed for this ATP tour event in Vienna. He takes on Diego Schwarzman who is seeded fifth and is the worthy favourite to win this match. Thiem has only dropped two sets on his way to this final. He's had wins over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Fernando Verdasco (in three sets), Pablo Correna Busta (who retired injured in the first set when 5-0 down) and in the semi-final Matteo Berrettini. Thiem had to come from a set down to get past the Italian in that last four match. Thiem is looking to continue his good run of form after a win at the China Open last month. With the Paris Masters and ATP Tour finals over the next couple of weeks, now is the time to be playing well.

Diego Schwartzmancaused a slight upset in the semi-finals when beating fourth-seeded Gael Monfils in straight sets. Schwartzman has only lost one set on his way to this final. That was incurred in his second round match against Sam Querrey, who had beaten him recently in China. He knocked out second seed Karen Khachanov in the quarter finals. It's a return to form as he has failed to make it past the last sixteen of his last three tournaments. Thiem has won four of his six previous matches against his opponent in this final. The most recent win came earlier this year when Thiem won in straight sets in Barcelona dropping only six games.  Go for the number one seed to get the win here.
