Dominic Stricker vs Sebastian Ofner Prediction & Betting Tips - Prague, Czech Republic

The bottom two seeds face each other in the final of the clay court Prague Open. It’s seventh seeded Dominic Stricker takes on Sebastian Ofner who is the eighth seed in this Challenger Tour event. Stricker is 129th in the rankings but up to 119th in the live list. He’s been mainly playing on the Challenger Tour this year and won a title in Italy but on a hard court. The Swiss player has had success on clay and won the boy’s singles title at Roland Garros three years ago. He’s bidding to win his second Challenger Tour clay court title, he won one last year in his home country. This week has seen him twice have to come from a set down to progress. In the semifinals he showed good form when knocking out top seeded Filip Krajinovic, again in three sets but losing the middle one.

Sebastian Ofner began this tournament ranked 130th but is up eight places in the live list. Winning this final will take him up to 116th and above his opponent. Ofner attempted to qualify for the Madrid Masters but lost in the final qualifying round to Roman Safiullin. He’s been playing clay court tournaments on the Challenger Tour since mid-March. The Austrian reached the finals in Antalya and Zadar plus a semifinal in Portugal last month. In Prague, Ofner has had to go the final set in two of his four matches. In the last four, he took on unseeded Lukas Klein and after winning a first set tie-break lost the next one 6-0. He recovered to win the final set 6-3 to reach another final. Six of his last seven finals have been lost but the one he did win was an ITF event in Prague last year. Stricker looks in the better form and can win this.
