Dominic Stricker vs Miomir Kecmanovic Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Swiss Open Gstaad

World number 43 Miomir Kecmanovic will take on wildcard Dominic Stricker in the second round of the ATP Gstaad Open on Wednesday. The winner of this match will face either Zizou Bergs or Jurij Rodionov in the next round. Kecmanovic has seen his world ranking slip to outside the top 40 from 28th at the start of the year. He is in search of his second ATP title, with his first coming back in 2020. The Serbian has reached two finals this year, in Estoril and Delray Beach but was unable to win either. He is 17-19 for the year and 7-7 on the clay. Kecmanovic’s best performances this season have come on the clay, making a final and semi-final appearance back in April. Following an underwhelming grass swing, this will be Kecmanovic’s first match here in Switzerland, having received a buy in the first round. 

Stricker will be playing on his home court and will have fond memories here after winning the doubles title back in 2020 with Marc-Andrea Huesler. His form this year has been reasonable, despite playing most of his matches on the challenger circuit. The Swiss has two titles to his name this year, with the first coming on the hardcourt back in February and the second on the clay in Prague. Stricker faced the 58th-ranked Arthur Fils in the first round, and it proved to be tricky; however, he managed to overcome the Frenchman after both sets required a tiebreaker to decide. He is now 27-11 for the year and 8-3 on the clay.
