Djokovic vs Nadal Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells
by | in ATP Indian Wells Predictions
It's good to see Rafael Nadal in the semi-final of a major tournament. Last year he failed to get past the quarter finals of any Grand Slam tournament and not past the third round in the last three. Of course this isn't a Grand Slam tournament but it's one of the top ones that is played each year so it's definite progress for the Spaniard, especially with his beloved clay court season not too far away. He beat Nishikori in the last round but has dropped two sets on his way to this match against the world number one. I don't expect him to get a set off Djokovic but it's been a promising week for him. Djokovic continues to dominate the men's game and has been aided by the absence of Roger Federer and an early exit by Andy Murray. He did drop a set in his opening match against Bjorn Fratangelo but hasn't dropped one since. He had a tough game against Tsonga in the quarter final though winning both sets on a tie-break. The world number one hasn't lost to Nadal in his last five matches, the last defeat being on clay at the 2014 French Open. In all he's won nine of their last ten meetings and I can see him comfortably making it ten out of eleven here.
