Dimitar Kuzmanov vs Liam Broady Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP US Open

Liam Broady is the 25th seed in the US Open qualifying rounds. The British player takes on Dimitar Kuzmanov in the second qualifying round with the winner up against either 14th seeded Emilio Gomez or Brandon Holt for a place in the US Open main draw. Broady is the world number 131 but was a career high 116th in February of this year. He would be higher if there had been ranking points available at Wimbledon as he reached the last 32 of that tournament. That run included beating the world number 15 Diego Schwatzman. He made it to the first round of the Australian Open this year but lost in the Roland Garros qualifiers. Recent weeks have seen him on the Challenger Tour with quarter finals reached in Chicago  and Winnipeg. The first qualifying round of this Grand Slam saw Broady beat wild card Murphy Cassone but he needed to go to three sets after losing the opening one.

Dimitar Kuzmanov is the world number 162 and that is a career high for the Bulgarian. He has failed to reach the main draw of any of the Grand Slam events held this year. Kuzmanov turned professional 13 years ago but has spent most of his time playing on the lower level circuits. He's won 21 titles over the past 10 years, including one this year. Establishing himself on the ATP Tour hasn't worked that well for him though.  The first qualifying round saw him come from behind to beat Luca Nardi  Broady can get the win here, it might take three sets though.
