Diana Shnaider vs Marie Bouzkova Prediction & Betting Tips - Jiangxi Open

Third seeded Marie Bouzkova is the only remaining seed in the Jiangxi Open. The Czech faces unseeded Russian Diana Shnaider in the last four with possible opponents in the final being Katerina Siniakova, Leylah Fernandez or Aliaksandra Sasnovich. Bouzkova was ranked 29th at the start of this hard court tournament but is 41st in the live rankings as she's about to lose the points earned when reaching the Guadalajara semi-finals last October. Winning this semi-final can take her up to 33rd in the live rankings. Bouzkova has had some success on hard courts in recent months with quarter final appearances in Cincinnati (where she beat Jessica Pegula) and Seoul. The Czech has gone one better this week and is in her first semi-final of the year. Only 11 games have been dropped in her three straight sets victories. Two of the six sets won have been to love.

Diana Shnaider was in 72nd position in the rankings when this Jiangxi Open began. Shnaider was outside the top 100 in July but has had a good second half of the year and is 59th in the live rankings. That's four places above her career high. September saw her get to the final of the Ningbo Open with a win over Petra Kvitova before losing to Ons Jabeur in the final, winning only three games. Last week saw her qualify for the main draw in Zhengzhou but lose in round one. It's gone better this week with three straight sets wins including a round one victory over fifth seed Zhu Lin. Shnaider has also won two sets to love this week. Bouzkova looks to be in the better form and can get the win.
