The Detroit Pistons will play host to the Toronto Raptors at Little Caesars Arena in the NBA on Tuesday morning. The Pistons (7-11) are 11th in the Eastern Conference, while the Raps (4-13) are 13th in conference standings. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Detroit Pistons suffered their third defeat on the bounce on Sunday when they came up just short 111-110 against the Orlando Magic on the road. 

It was a fairly underwhelming all-round performance from Detroit, with only Jaden Ivey (19), Malik Beasley (18) and Marcus Sasser (13) managing to get into double-digits.

The Pistons are now averaging 109.8 points per game this season (22nd in the league), while allowing 111.6 PPG (11th in the NBA).

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors looked to be building up some momentum with two consecutive wins before running into the Cavs last night and losing 122-108 on the road. 

Scottie Barnes and Gradey Dick both put up 18 points while RJ Barrett added 16, but they were simply not good enough to keep up with the high-scoring Cleveland side in the second half.

The Raptors are ranked 16th in the scoring charts, putting up 112.9 PPG, but they’ve struggled at the other end this season, now averaging 118.8 points against - 27th in the league.
