The Detroit Pistons will play host to the Philadelphia 76ers at Little Caesars Arena in the NBA on Friday night. The Pistons (25-26) are seventh in the Eastern Conference while the Sixers (20-30) are 11th. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The Detroit Pistons fell to five defeats in their last seven games in midweek when they came up agonisingly short of beating the Cavaliers, losing the match 118-115. 

While Cade Cunningham put up 38 points and nine assists, as a team, Detroit shot a poor 39% from the field and made just 12 of 37 attempts from beyond the arc. 

The Pistons are mid-table on both ends this season, 16 for points scored (112.7 PPG) and 17th for points against (113.8 PPG).

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have also been in a slump recently and were handed their third loss in four games when they were beaten 108-101 by the Heat on Wednesday. 

Tyrese Maxey scored 31 points, but similar to the Pistons’ last match, Philly’s loss was attributable to a poor shot conversion of 38% from the field and 12 of 40 from range. 

The Sixers are ranked 25th in the scoring charts this season, averaging 109.1 points per game, but they are a better team on defence, allowing 112.6 PPG (15th overall).
