The Detroit Pistons (33-26) and the Denver Nuggets (38-21) will meet at Little Caesars Arena in Friday's NBA cross-conference clash. The Pistons are sixth in the Eastern Conference, while the Nuggets are third in the Western Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The Detroit Pistons are coming into this game brimming with confidence. The hosts are currently on an eight-match winning streak since suffering two consecutive defeats against the Hawks and the Cavaliers in early February. 

The Pistons' most recent match saw them beat the Boston Celtics 117-97 at home. This was their first win against the Celtics since winning 112-111 on February 02, 2022.

Home form has been impressive so far with the team winning four consecutive matches. However, they are on a four-match losing streak at home against the Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets failed to live up to their billing as favourites in their recent outing against the Milwaukee Bucks. They succumbed to a 121-112 away defeat.

Three-time MVP Nikola Jokic led the team with a triple-double. He scored 32 points, had 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Jamal Murray also contributed with 20 points.

Despite some minor setbacks, the Nuggets remain consistent in the NBA. They have won ten wins to their name in the last 12 outings. Away from home, they have a 1-4 record and could make life difficult for the Pistons in this match.
