The Detroit Pistons got back to winning ways last time out thanks to a 117-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. J.B. Bickerstaff’s men were on a three-match skid by the time the Mavs rolled into town.

They have stuttered in recent weeks, with Friday’s win, their third in the last eight games. The Pistons, who have compiled a 24-24 record, are seeking to tighten their grip in the top six in the East.

The Bulls have dominated this matchup with the Pistons and will arrive confident of another victory. In the last 20 meetings, they have won 18 times.

Chicago won the first meeting this season 122-112 in Detroit. Billy Donovan’s men are also coming off a victory on Friday night. Playing the second road game of a back-to-back, the Bulls outmuscled the Raptors 122-106.

The Bulls have lacked consistency this season and the win in Toronto was just their third in the last 11 games. Zach LaVine was absent for the second successive night due to personal reasons and is likely to be unavailable in the motor city.
