The Denver Nuggets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in the opening round of the season. We have a prediction for the match below.

OKC won by a landslide last week as the two met in preseason. The Nuggets failed to impress in preseason, managing just one win in their five build-up matches. 

Mike Malone’s men averaged 109.4 points and allowed over 120 points a game. One of their heavy defeats came against their next opponents who claimed a 30-point blowout victory. 

Denver, however, missed several of their stars and will not be too worried with the result. The Nuggets ended their preseason on a high thanks to a 132-126 win over the Timberwolves.

OKC Thunder have had a dominant run in this fixture and it is no surprise they claimed a huge preseason victory. 

Mark Daigneault’s men, who shared the best regular season record with the Nuggets last season, have won three straight games against Denver. They have also won in their last three away duels with the Nuggets. 

Coming into this match on the back of a three-match winning run, they will be confident of adding to their advantage. OKC, who averaged 114 points in preseason and allowed just 102.2 points a game, won four of five build-up fixtures.
