Game 5 of the NBA Playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and the LA Clippers will come to us on Tuesday night from Ball Arena. The Nuggets edged Game 4 against the Clippers to level the series at 2-2. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Denver Nuggets achieved what would have likely been their primary goal in LA, nicking a win in Game 4 to keep the series tied heading back home for Game 5. 

And that victory would have tasted all the more sweeter after James Harden almost initiated an all-out brawl by trying to hit Aaron Gordon. Ivica Zubac intervened, and Gordon got his revenge, slamming in a dunk for the win. 

All the while, Nikola Jokic continued to put up superhuman numbers, finishing with 36 points, 21 rebounds and eight assists. However, there was very little contribution from Denver’s bench. 

While the series may be level, most neutrals will likely agree that the Clippers have been the more consistent team, and could easily be out of sight had a few more plays gone their way. 

Kawhi Leonard is playing some of his best ball of the season alongside James Harden, while Zubac holds his own on offence and has been valiant in his efforts to disrupt the Joker. 

However, like Denver, LA’s bench needs to step up to get their side over the line. In the last match, Kris Dunn shot one of six, and Nicolas Batum went one of nine. A single more basket from either could have got the team the win.
