The 12-10 Denver Nuggets will take on the 14-11 LA Clippers early on Saturday morning in a Western Conference matchup. Ahead of our prediction on the game, the Nuggets are 7th in the West while the Clippers are 6th.

Denver is 6-2 in their last eight at home, although they are 1-2 in their last three and 6-4 in their 10 overall at home. One of their early losses came against the Clippers, a team that also beat them in Los Angeles earlier in December.

Nikola Jokic carries them, second in the NBA in both average points and assists and leads the league in rebounds. They have struggled to put back-to-back wins together since a streak in early November, winning last time out.

The Clippers have lost their last two at home, back out on the road now. The twice they have faced the Nuggets this season have both come after a loss and got them back in the win column.

Ivica Zubac has been performing well on the boards with James Harden fifth in the league in assists per game and shooting a career-best from the free-throw line.
