Denmark vs Netherlands Prediction & Betting Tips - Women's EHF Euro

Group II of the main round in the 2024 Women's European Handball Championships will have an exciting finish. Second placed Denmark take on the Netherlands who are in third position in the group. Here's our match prediction.

The Danes have six points as do their opponents but the Dutch team has an inferior goal difference. Avoiding defeat will guarantee Denmark a place in the last four. They are two points behind group leaders Norway but behind them on goal difference. The side that finishes third in this group will go into the fifth/sixth place play-off rather than the semi-finals.

Denmark won all their matches in the preliminary round and carried two points into this group. They then lost to Norway  (their only loss in the last ten matches)but have since beaten Germany and most recently Slovenia to boost their semi-final qualification hopes, They will be hoping for another excellent performance from their goalkeeper Anna Kristensen who has a 39.9 per cent save efficiency rate in these championships. 

The Netherlands also won all three of their games in the preliminary round. In this main round, they have had wins over Slovenia and Switzerland but lost to Norway.  They trail Denmark 2-1 in previous European Championship matches and lost their most recent match against them.
