Third seed Maria Sakkari has been having her best week of the year in Linz. The Greek player faces fifth-seeded Dayana Yastremska for a place in the last four of this indoor hard court tournament. Here's our match prediction.

Sakkari has slipped down the rankings to 31st but this run to the last eight has seen her rise to 28th in the live rankings. This year has been a bit of a disaster for her until this week. Both of her matches in the United Cup were lost and then she was beaten in the Adelaide qualifiers.

The 29-year-old was reinstated as a lucky loser but then lost to Jessica Pegula in round two. Sakkari then suffered a first round loss to Camila Osorio in the Australian Open first round.

This week has gone better for her with a straight sets win over Viktorija Tomova, losing only five games.

Dayana Yastremska is up to 64th in the live rankings and is in her second quarter-final of the year. The other came in Hobart and the third round of the Australian Open was reached. To reach the last eight in Linz, Yastremska has beaten Lucia Bronzetti and qualifier Antonia Ruzic without dropping a set.
