Daniil Medvedev vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Cincinnati Open

Top seed Daniil Medvedev bids to win his second final in three tournaments. He faces fourth seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals of the Cincinnati Masters. Medvedev has already confirmed his spot as world number one and will be the top seed when defending his US Open at the end of this month. He's only won one tournament this year and it took him until this month to win that. He won the Los Cabos final beating Cameron Norrie in straight sets. A repeat of that final could happen in Cincinnati if Medvedev wins and Norrie beats Coric in the other semi-final. Medvedev has made it to the last four here without losing a set. He's had wins over Botic van de Zandschlup, Denis Shapovalov and in his quarter final, Taylor Fritz.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is the world number seven but a win here will take him up to fifth in the rankings, still below the career high of third that he achieved this time last year. The Greek has wn two titles this year, retaining his Monte Carlo trophy on clay and winning on grass in Mallorca. He also lost finals in Rotterdam and Rome but hasn't been going deep in tournaments recently. His last two tournaments both saw him lose in the last 32, including that titanic bad-tempered match with Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon. This week has gone better for him with victories over Filip Krajinovic, 13th seeded Diego Schwartzmann and in the last eight, a three set win over unseeded John Isner. He's 7-2 down in previous matches against Medvedev. He lost the first five but has won two of the last four but the most recent meeting saw Medvedev beat him in four setsin this year's Australian Open. Medvedev seems to have hit top form at just the right time and can get the win here.
