Daniil Medvedev vs Sebastian Korda Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Mutua Madrid Open

Third seed Daniil Medvedev takes on the 25th seeded Sebastian Korda for a place in round four of the Madrid Masters. For the winner, there's a match against either 14th seeded Ben Shelton or the 17th seed Alexander Bublik. Medvedev is fourth in the rankings and second in the ATP Race with only Jannik Sinner ahead of him. Last year saw him win the Rome Masters, his first and still only ATP clay court title. The Russian is yet to win a title this year but each of his four hard court tournaments this year saw him get to at least the semi-finals. His run came to an end in his first clay court event of the year. He was beaten by eventual champion Stefanos Tsitsipas in the last 16. Medvedev is bidding to reach the fourth round here for the second year in a row but that's the furthest he's ever reached in Madrid  He had a tough match in round two and needed three sets to get past Matteo Arnaldi after dropping the first set.

Sebastian Korda is 2-2 in previous meetings with Medvedev but this is their first match on clay. The American is 26th in the latest rankings, three places below his career-high. His straight sets win over Max Purcell in round two of this outdoor clay court tournament has taken him up to 25th and 35th in the Live ATP Race. Korda had lost his last two matches on clay before beating Purcell. His best performance on the surface this year was a run to the second round in Monte Carlo. This is his fourth time in the Madrid Masters but the first time he's made it past the second round. We tip Medvedev to win this match.
