Daniil Medvedev vs Rafael Nadal Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

We're down to the semi-finals of the ATP Tour Finals and Daniil Medvedev takes on Rafael Nadal. Medvedev has already had a successful week with three wins in a row. He opened his campaign with a straight sets victory over Alexander Zverev, repeating his success in the recent Paris Masters final. Medevedev then took on world number one Novak Djokovic and stunned his opponent with a straight sets win. That carried on the good form that he showed in Paris but due to the format of this tournament, he's still got a lot of work on his hands to win this title. The format also meant that while Nadal had secured his place in the last four on Thursday evening, Medvedev had to play Diego Schwartzman on Friday evening, even though he'd already won the group and knew who he'd be playing in Saturday's semi final. He ran out a straight sets winner, so didn't use up too much energy.

Rafael Nadal has never won this tournament and has already lost one match this week. He began with a straight sets win over Andrey Rublev but then lost to Dominic Thiem. It was a narrow defeat even though he lost it in two sets. Both of those sets were won by tie breaks in a match that lasted two hours and 25 minutes.. The Spaniard had to win his final group match against Stefanos Tsitsipas (the defending champion) to reach the semi-finals and he did so but had to go to three sets, losing the middle one but winning the final set 6-2. That's three sets lost this week though and now he comes up against Medvedev for a place in the final. Nadal has won his three previous meetings with Medvedev. The most recent was in the round-robin group here last year. Before that he beat him in the five-set 2019 US Open and a two set win in the Cincinatti Masters last year. A bet on over 21.5 games in this match is the one to go for in what should be a fascinating match.
