Daniil Medvedev vs Milos Raonic Prediction & Betting Tips - Rolex Paris Masters

Third seeded Daniil Medvedev had never made it past the second round of the Paris Masters before this week. Now he's one match away from reaching the final. After a three set match against Alex de Minaur in the third round, he had a much easier time up against Diego Schwartzman in Friday's quarter final. He won that match in straight sets, dropping just four games. It's a return to form for Medvedev who since his run to the US Open semi-finals has had early exits in his next three tournaments. The set he lost against de Minaur is the only one that he's dropped in this tournament. If he can repeat the form shown in his quarter final he is going to prove very difficult to beat.

He faces the tenth seeded Milos Raonic who is in his first semi-final here since 2016. He has played in the Paris Masters final but that was back in 2014 when losing to Novak Djokovic in straight sets. He is most fortunate to be in the last four after a tough three-set quarter final against unseeded Ugo Humbert. He had to save two match points in that match to avoid an exit. This is his fourth semi-fnal of the year, only in New York in the Western and Southern Open has he reached the final. Before the three-setter against Humbert, Raonic had beaten both Pierre Hugues-Herbert and Marcos Giron in straight sets. Raonic has only had two wins against top-ten ranked opponents this year, both being won against Stefanos Tsitsipas. The pair have only had two previous meetings, both won by Medvedev. Go for him to get another win over his Canadian opponent.
