Daniil Medvedev vs Matteo Berrettini Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Cup, Group B

Russia are taking on Italy in the final of the ATP Cup. The Russians were the pre-tournament favourites and have lived up to that reputation. It's not surprising as they have two of the world's top ten players in their team, including Daniil Medvedev. He's been warming up well for the Australian Open with wins over Diego Schwartzmann, Kei Nishikori and Alexander Zverev. Only in his match against Zverev in the semi-final has he lost a set. He had to battle from a set down to get the win that secured a win over Germany and a place in their first ATP Cup final.

Medvedev takes on Matteo Berrettini in the second match of this final. The first sees Andrey Rublev up against Fabio Fognini. Berrettini is ranked tenth in the world, six places below his opponent. Italy finished top of Group C above France and Austria. Berrettini played his part in that group win with straight sets victories over Dominic Thiem and Gael Monfils. The semi-final saw Berrettini again successful with a win in two sets over Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut. He's only had one previous meeting with Medevev, that was in 2018 and he lost it in three sets after winning the first on a tie-break. With the Russians likely to be one up after the first match, Medvedev can win the cup for them with a victory here.
