Lehecka is having his best-ever campaign on grass. Before this season, the Czech number one had never won a match on grass. Lehecka reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open this year for his best-ever result at a Grand Slam. He defeated a top 10 player for the first time on his way to achieving that feat. The winner of this match will face either unseeded Christopher Eubanks or fifth-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals.
