Daniil Medvedev vs Grigor Dimitrov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

Daniil Medvedev is the fourth seed at Indian Wells and was the losing finalist in this Masters 1000 tournament last year. He takes on 13th seed Grigor Dimitrov for a place in the last eight of this outdoor hard court tournament. For the winner there's a match against either seventh seed Holger Rune or 12th seeded Taylor Fritz. Medvedev is fourth in the live rankings and only Jannik Sinner has won more ranking points than him this year. It's been a relatively quiet but still successful year for the fourth seed. This is only his third tournament in 2024 but he's reached the Australian Open final and the last four in Dubai. So far at Indian Wells, he's beaten unseeded Roberto Carballes Baena (for the loss of five games) and then got a three-set win (middle set lost) over the 29th seeded Sebastian Korda. Medvedev has won six of his nine previous matches against Grigor Dimitrov. Three in a row had been won before an indoor hard court loss to him in Paris last year.

Grigor Dimitrov is up to 12th in the live rankings and a place higher in the Live ATP Race. 2024 has gone well for the Bulgarian with one outdoor hard court title being won in Brisbane a couple of months ago. Since then he's also got to the final of the indoors hard court tournament held in Marseille and then the semi-final in Rotterdam. He didn't play in any of the recent outdoor hard court tournaments. To get to the last 16 at Indian Wells, Dimitrov has beaten Alexandre Muller and 21st seed Adrian Mannarino without dropping a set. This is tougher though and we tip Medvedev to get the win over Dimitrov. .
