Daniil Medvedev vs Grigor Dimitrov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

Sixth seed Danill Medvedev and world number 28 Grigor Dimitrov will on Saturday face off in the semifinals of the Rotterdam Open. The two have met each other six times before with Medvedev ending up victorious on four occasions. Medvedev can climb back into the ATP top 10 with a victory here. Currently, in 11th place, the Russian number one started his season in seventh but fell out of the top 10 after his third-round loss in the Australian Open to Sebastian Korda. He is in his second semifinal of the season after making the last four in Adelaide. On his way to the semi-final here he has dropped just one set in three matches and defeated defending champion Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets of 6-2, 6-4 to advance to this tie with Dimitrov. Medvedev made the semifinals here in 2019 and will be hoping to go one better this year.

Grigor Dimitrov reached the final here back in 2018 but has never made it that far again. He exited in the second round in his last appearance (2020). He will be keen to offset the challenge of Medvedev who has dominated him in their past meetings. The Bulgarian won his first two matches here in Rotterdam by straight sets, beating the qualifier Aslan Karatsev 6-1, 6-3 and followed that up with a 7-6, 7-6 win over fifth seed Hubert Hurkacz in the second round. He lost his first set of the tournament in the 2-1 win over Alex de Minaur in the previous round. A former world number three, Dimitrov served off in Rotterdam ranked 28th but has already moved up to 25th in the live ranking and can move back into the top 20 if he ends up winning the tournament. The match will be played on an indoor hard court with the winner advancing to play either wildcard Tallon Griekspoor or world number 14 Jannik Sinner in the final.
