Daniil Medvedev vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

Daniil Medvedev is the fourth seed in the ATP Tour Finals. He takes on Andrey Rublev in the opening Red Group match. The other two players in this immensely strong group are Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Medvedev has a good record in these Tour Finals, winning the title in 2020 and being the runner-up last year. He's reached five ATP Tour finals this year but had to wait until the fourth in August to win his first title. That came in Mexico and he won a second title in Vienna last month. The most recent tournament for the world number five was in the Paris Masters, losing in his first match to Alex de Minaur.

Andrey Rublev is making his third appearance in the ATP Tour Finals. He's had nowhere near the success of his opponent and is yet to reach the semi-finals. The world number seven has more tournament wins this year than Medvedev. Rublev has won four titles, three of them coming in the first four months of the year. He had to wait another six months before winning in Gijon. He's played two tournaments since that win and failed to get past the last 16 in both of them. Rublev has a poor record against Medvedev, only winning one of their five previous meetings. His one win was in their most recent match played in Cincinnati last year. Two of his losses to Medvedev have come in Grand Slam events. Back Medvedev to get another win over his fellow Russian.
